Future developments include a new shopping centre, spanning between 10,000m² and 14,000m², developed by Cubisol Property Fund. This centre may also incorporate residential apartments. The Renishaw Coastal Precinct is designed with self-sufficiency in mind, featuring its own water, sanitation, waste management, and solar power systems, managed by RenSERV. This approach aims to alleviate pressure on municipal services, particularly relevant given recent weather alerts and heavy storms in June 2024 that caused widespread damage in KwaZulu-Natal.
For prospective residents, Restilridge Farm Estate, the second residential development, is scheduled to launch in 2026. It will offer a blend of coastal and farm living, characterised by Natal farmhouses and spacious plots. This, alongside Renishaw Hills, provides diverse residential options for those seeking a secure lifestyle on the coast.

A key aspect of the Renishaw Coastal Precinct is its commitment to environmental conservation. Only 20% of the 1,300 hectares will be developed, with the remaining 80% preserved as indigenous forests, wetlands, and approximately 40 kilometres of nature trails.
